Day 5

Singapore to Hong Kong 2025

Leam Chabang, Pattaya, Bangkok

Buses taking passengers to Pattaya
Return buses -
Don't miss the ship!
The ship was still moored at the port of Leam Chabang, and after a light breakfast, we caught a bus to Pattaya where we spent a few hours walking around and shopping. We had to be back in the mid afternoon before the ship sailed at 4pm.

Pattaya was pretty much as we remember when we were last there in 2008 although it was more built up, and even busier with more tourists.

There were still songthaews (shared pickup trucks), Pattaya's  most common mode of public transportation.

The return journey - love the gearstick

Back on board the ship in the afternoon Frances attended an aquarobics dance class, and then we just spent awhile in the pool before preparing for dinner.

At dinner, we met Tom and Janet From Sheffield.
